How to deploy Labels & Messages across environments?

Note: This is applicable if the Developer Extensions toggle is enabled.

Whenever Sitefinity labels are updated, a new resource file (.resx) is created in the file system under App_Data\Sitefinity\GlobalResources. This new file should be added to the Visual Studio project and deployed. For more information, see the documentation article on code deployment.
