How does Sitefinity fetch content for generation?

Sitefinity uses RAG driven by the user’s expressed intent. The system interprets the question, searches indexed content through vector matching and relevance scoring, then pulls the most meaningful passages from sources such as pages, documents, media or structured data. This retrieval step uses Progress Agentic RAG, where content is preprocessed, chunked and enriched with embeddings so the system can quickly locate the right information. The gathered material is then passed to the LLM as the factual base it should rely on when forming a response.
