What's new

Access rules

Sitefinity Cloud now lets you block unwanted website requests before they reach your application, directly from the Management Portal. On the new Access rules page you can create block rules that apply to all environments or only to selected ones, and combine multiple conditions that must all match before a request is blocked.

Each rule can evaluate request attributes such as URI path, URI query string, hostname, IP address (including IPv6 in CIDR notation), country, and AS number. This makes it easy to protect non-Production environments, restrict traffic from specific networks or regions, and block requests for specific hosts or URL patterns. Access to the feature is controlled by two dedicated permission groups, Manage Rules and View Rules, so you can decide who can author rules and who can only review them.
