Overview

The German Language Pack translates the Sitefinity CMS backend interface into German, supporting more intuitive workflows for native speakers. This improves productivity and reduces confusion when managing content, campaigns, or digital experiences from within the Sitefinity platform.

The pack is compatible with Sitefinity versions 4.1 through 11.1. For later versions, users can manually translate any new or updated system labels as needed.

What Is the German Language Pack?

A resource file-based integration that modifies the Sitefinity backend interface into the German language, enabling efficient collaboration and faster onboarding for German-speaking digital teams.

Integration Overview

Import the .resx files into your Sitefinity CMS environment and activate the German language from the backend settings. The translated UI becomes immediately available to all users who select German in their personal profile settings.

The German Language Pack includes translations for:

Installation Overview

  1. Download the German language pack from the Sitefinity GitHub Marketplace:

  2. Follow the steps in the documentation to import the .resx files into your Sitefinity CMS project.
  3. Enable Portuguese as a backend UI language under Administration » Settings » Languages.
  4. Instruct users to set their preferred interface language in Profile settings.

Note: For Sitefinity versions 11.2 and above, additional backend labels may require manual translation.
