Katie Kulikoski

Chief People Officer

Katie Kulikoski is Chief People Officer for Progress and is responsible for all aspects of the company's global human resources function, including culture development, talent acquisition, retention, change management and process effectiveness.

Since joining Progress, Katie has become a fierce champion for Progress people, nurturing a rich culture that prioritizes inclusion, diversity and belonging. She hired the company’s first Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer, rejuvenated the Employee Resource Group program and put teeth behind the measurement and accountability of People Team practices. This stellar work earned Katie recognitions as Chief Human Resource Officer of the Year and for Human Resources Executive of the Year from the American Business Award (Stevies). These only add to the many awards and accolades Progress has won as a “best employer” under her People Team leadership, based largely on high employee satisfaction and retention.

These are skills Katie honed during 20+ years of leading people functions in growth-oriented technology companies. Previously, she led the talent strategy for Brightcove as its Chief People Officer and Senior Executive Vice President, Human Resources. In her tenure Katie reduced voluntary attrition significantly and successfully integrated an acquisition that resulted in double-digit inorganic growth for the year. Katie has also held leadership positions at Optaros, CIDC and ConnectEDU.

Katie is a longstanding member of the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA) and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). When not with her family, Katie serves on the board of Rehearsal for Life, Inc., a youth theater program that strengthens life skills and advances understanding through dialogue, creativity and performance.

Katie earned her BA in Politics from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
