Rainer Gawlick

Director

Rainer Gawlick currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Proto Labs, Inc. (NYSE: PRLB), a leading online and technology-enabled quick-turn manufacturer of custom parts for prototyping and short-run production. He also serves as Lead Independent Director of the Board of Chyron, a private company specializing in broadcast graphics creation, playout and real-time data visualization. Dr. Gawlick formerly served as President of Perfecto Mobile, Ltd., a leader in mobile testing, and, prior to that, as Executive Vice President of Global Sales at Intralinks, Inc., a computer software company providing virtual data rooms and other content management services. Previously, Dr. Gawlick served as Chief Marketing Officer of Sophos Ltd., a computer security company providing endpoint, network and data protection software. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Strategy at SolidWorks Corp., a CAD software company. He has also held a variety of executive positions in other technology businesses and was a consultant with McKinsey & Company. Currently, Dr. Gawlick also serves as a Director of private companies Plastik AI, Sectigo, Oktopost and is Chairman of the Board of Photoshelter. He also advises the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on workforce issues as a member of the MassHire State Workforce Board (MSWB), and is Chairman of the Board of Apprenti, a non-profit. Dr. Gawlick holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
