With the announcement of the Progress acquisition of Telerik®, most of the attention was focused, rightly, on the breadth of complementary developer tools and capabilities that now become part of our Progress offering. Almost lost from view in all the excitement is Telerik Sitefinity™ Content Management System (CMS).
CMS for app developers
At first glance, you may not think that a CMS has much to do with developers and our core focus–but it absolutely does. The huge number of developers that are creating web apps have a need to store their web content somewhere and integrate it with backend systems.
Sitefinity provides that. And, it is more than just a top-notch CMS; it’s also a customer analytics platform that helps organizations create and optimize customer experiences across digital channels with ease.
Content management, analytics and personalization
With a CMS integrated with web analytics, developers can do more and deliver more. Not only can they better understand customer experiences, they can also personalize that experience with next-generation digital marketing and customer analytics solutions.
Sitefinity CMS can also help optimize content presentation on any device and achieve critical cross-channel continuity, adapt to changing business requirements and integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems.
Sitefinity CMS centralizes digital experience delivery with a platform that spans brands, organizations and languages. That’s a lot to like–and it deepens the value of what we can offer developers. In fact, we are looking to grow Sitefinity CMS even more, and now that we’ve finalized the acquisition of Telerik, we plan to continue to invest in strengthening this platform. So, rest assured, we value the capabilities of Sitefinity CMS and see it as a strategic plus for us as we move forward with our growing developer community.
Indeed, as noted in a previous post, we are now the destination site for the largest developer population on the planet, spanning ABL, .NET, Java, JavaScript, Node.js and Mobile.
