Carrier LogisticsProgress partner Carrier Logistics, a transportation and freight management solutions company, has selected Progress OpenEdge as their core development platform to help better serve their customers, which range from start-ups to global freight businesses. Carrier Logistics vice president Ken Weinberg explains, "It had everything in a box – a programming language, a database, a data dictionary – all tied together." Carrier was able to offer a more economical solution with the introduction of a SaaS version of their product, also built on OpenEdge.
