This summer was the beginning of an onslaught of awards for Progress, including two "Stevies," from the International Business Awards (IBAs)—the world’s premier business awards program.

Announced in August, the Stevie included a Gold in the Software Development Solution category and a Bronze in the Marketing/Public Relations Solution category. Progress was also  a Top 5 finalist in the MassTLC Leadership Awards for Cloud Innovation

Progress OpenEdge shined bright at the 2015 IBAs, which received entries from more than 60 nations and territories. More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. 

The platform of choice for software application partners for more than 30 years, OpenEdge delighted the judges with its capabilities, which span supply chain and payment systems to custom software for every industry. Here are some of the judges’ comments—unedited—about Progress OpenEdge:

• "PAS for OpenEdge is a server solution that simplifies creation, deployment and operations of business applications. It has been well received by users."
• "This solution can be used and applied to help customers in many different industries, such as health, travel, environment, etc. The 4 million users absolutely made a positive impact and designed solutions to improve peoples' lives worldwide using this software."
• "A first-tier or front-end supporting browser-based [solution] and a variety of other user interface technologies for new/improved User Experience options."
Other comments included "Great job," "Excellent performance achieved," and "Smart and professional management."
