Powering Your Growth at Every Stage with Podio Software

Powering your growth

The Progress® Podio® platform is designed to grow alongside your business.

Its flexible data structure, customizable apps and connected workflows allow organizations to start with a simple process and evolve it into a sophisticated system supporting business-critical operations. As needs change, customers can adapt how they use Podio software without being confined to a predefined way of managing their business.

No two organizations follow the same growth path. For some, growth means adding more people and increasing collaboration. For others, it means processing more data, connecting more systems and automating more work—sometimes with a relatively small number of users.

Our new hybrid pricing model provides greater flexibility in how customers use Podio capabilities as their business evolves.

A Pricing Model That Reflects How Businesses Grow

Seat-based subscriptions reflect the number of people who access Podio software, collaborate and use the features included in their plan.

However, as customers build more advanced solutions, an increasing amount of work can take place behind the scenes through automated processes, integrations and higher-volume operations. This usage does not always grow at the same rate as the number of people using the Podio platform.

Hybrid pricing brings these two dimensions together. Seat-based subscriptions continue to support user access and collaboration, while included usage and optional add-ons enable expansion of selected platform resources as operational demand increases.

This allows organizations to grow their teams and their platform usage independently, based on what their business needs.

Start with What You Need and Scale When You’re Ready

Eligible Podio plans include the capacity to support standard usage. Organizations can begin with what’s included and add more only when their requirements grow beyond those limits.

This model creates a clearer path for customers at every stage. Growing businesses can get started without paying for resources they don’t need, while organizations running more complex systems can expand the resources supporting those operations.

It also eliminates the need to add user seats solely to increase usage capacity.

Additional capacity is prepaid and available in multiple tiers. Customers can select the level that reflects their current needs and move to a higher tier as those needs evolve. With no automatic overage charges, organizations retain greater control and predictability over their costs.

Supporting Higher-Volume Operations

Podio software also offers additional API and Workflow Automation capacity through self-service add-ons for eligible paid plans.

Customers whose usage remains within the limits included in their plan do not need an add-on. Those with higher-volume requirements can choose the level that best supports their operations.

Continuing to Invest in the Podio Experience

As customers expand what they accomplish with Podio software, we will continue to invest in the capabilities that support evolving business needs—including platform performance and stability, workflow automation, administrative controls and a simpler, more productive user experience.

Our goal remains unchanged: to give organizations the flexibility to start small, build around the way they work and scale their operations with confidence as their business evolves.
