Opening the market at Nasdaq is an honor for any company and I am proud to represent our company in ringing the bell. For Progress, this event at this particular time is especially significant. Think about what we’ve accomplished so far this year. The rebranding of our company and the launch of Progress DigitalFactory—just two milestones that have created significant awareness for our company as businesses across all industries and geographies come to grips with the disruption of digital. But what makes opening the Nasdaq at this time even more special is that it commemorates the 25th anniversary of our Nasdaq listing (PRGS) and the 35th anniversary of our company’s founding.
Ringing the bell may be symbolic, but it’s a true testament to the strength of our company, our technology, our people and our customers. And to never sitting still. Our customers know that from Progress they get continuous innovation year after year, decade after decade. From data connectivity, business rules and the industry’s best UI frameworks and app development tools and services, we’re always giving our customers the validation that being with Progress is the right decision. As importantly, Progress is a great place to work. It is why we have so many of our team members celebrating more than 20 years of our incredible journey.
Today, our set of solutions ensures that our customers are empowered to use every digital touchpoint available to them to meet their clients on their own terms, where they live. It’s an imperative as enterprises must do everything they can to optimize the customer journey. At the same time, we’re also enabling our customers to reinvent themselves to meet the challenges of shifting markets. We find ourselves alongside the best-known companies in our industry as customers and partners, and we are finding receptive audiences in some of the world’s best-known brands as they look to digitally transform their businesses.
As organizations take on these digital challenges, they know they have in Progress a sustainable partner well into the future; a partner with a storied history of leveraging technology in compelling and innovative ways that promotes business excellence, particularly in times of change and disruption.
With these milestones in our business this year, I have never been more #ProgressProud to open the Nasdaq. I hope you will join us and celebrate the heritage of business success we have forged to date and toast to the future, in which we are poised to stake our leadership position as the world digitally transforms.
