OpenEdge 10.2B introduces many new capabilities to extend and enhance your application, including:
- OpenEdge Transparent Data Encryption, allowing your application to comply with regulations regarding the encryption of data at rest without having to change your application.
- Support for JSON (Java Script Notation) to and from Prodatasets, making it easier to develop an Ajax UI.
- Actional Interceptors for OpenEdge, allowing you to take advantage of the power of Actional to support Business Transaction Assurance.
