The Progress Data Platform Summit 2025, held at the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C., was more than just a gathering—it was a launchpad for real-world AI innovation. Over three days, attendees explored how to move from AI readiness to reality, with sessions focused on semantic enrichment, data governance and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
The venue itself—home to the world’s largest public collection of espionage artifacts—set the tone for a summit built on intelligence, strategy and transformation. From the rooftop reception to breakout tracks, the event was designed to spark ideas and build connections.
This year’s Summit emphasized the importance of data confidence—ensuring that AI outputs are trustworthy, explainable and free from bias. Speakers and sessions tackled:
Semantic Enrichment and Graph-Based AI: How organizations are using context-aware pipelines to improve decision-making
Data Integration and Modernization: Strategies for unifying disparate sources across silos
Responsible AI: Practical frameworks for deploying AI ethically in regulated environments
Customer Case Studies: Real-world examples from Moody’s, Dow, Boeing and others showcased how Progress technologies are driving measurable outcomes
The agenda featured thought-provoking keynotes and technical deep dives from Progress leaders and industry experts. CEO Yogesh Gupta opened with a keynote on AI trust and outcome-driven data strategies by showcasing Progress’ expansive portfolio. Matthieu Jonglez, SVP, Product and Engineering, hosted a dynamic customer panel. In addition, Shashi Bellamkonda, Principal Research Director of Info-Tech Research Group, outlined the importance of business value in the age of AI. Additional sessions explored GenAI readiness, metadata-driven governance and overall best practices.
Every session was professionally recorded and speaker interviews were conducted on site. These assets are now available for on-demand viewing, allowing attendees to revisit key moments and share insights with their teams.
The Summit was also a celebration of community. Attendees connected with peers, partners and Progress teams through networking events, demo rooms and collaborative workshops. Sponsors helped bring the experience to life with branded swag, interactive booths and expert-led sessions.
Planning is already underway for Progress Data Platform Summit in September 2026. Expect deeper dives, broader tracks and more opportunities to engage with the technologies shaping the future of data.
