I am excited to announce that Progress has acquired BravePoint, a leading IT consulting services based in Norcross, Georgia USA. This is part of our continuing strategy to support OpenEdge customers and partners with products, expertise and resources to build and extend competitive applications.

As a long time partner of Progress, BravePoint brings many years of expertise in building, modernizing and managing OpenEdge applications. Over the years, BravePoint has delivered many solutions that extend and support the OpenEdge platform. Going forward these solutions will be added to the Progress portfolio to make sure that OpenEdge customers and partners can continue to meet the needs of their users.

In this role, she is responsible for ensuring customer focus and accountability for improving the company’s relationship with its customers and partners, as it relates to the use of Progress core products. Smith joined the company in 2005 with 20 years of enterprise software marketing, sales and product strategy experience, and has helped transform software companies into industry leaders, built strategic partnerships, designed acquisition strategies and moved companies through aggressive growth stages.
