Advancing Our Office Spaces
Discontinuing Single-Use Plastic

We advanced in-office sustainability practices by discontinuing the purchase and usage of plastic cups and utensils and in some locations, added edible cups, in place of plastic.

Implementing Sustainable Practices With Our Green Committee
Implementing Sustainable Practices With Our Green Committee

We must adapt the way we think about sustainability as our footprint has extended far beyond the confines of our office spaces. Our newly formed Green Committee is responsible for developing fresh ideas to promote sustainable behavior among all our employees, ultimately leading to new habits, and changing the way we work and live.

Sustainability Facts

“Lighting accounts for 15% of global electricity use. Switching to LEDs will use 90% less energy and last far longer than incandescent lights. Using energy-efficient lights is not only the right thing to do, but it also makes economic sense. That is why Progress invested in LED lights throughout our entire office portfolio.”

“An automatic dishwasher uses less hot water than doing dishes by hand -- an average of six gallons less, or more than 2,000 gallons per year. Conserving water is an important topic with increasing droughts throughout the year. We have energy-efficient dishwashers installed in the majority of our office locations, helping save water while keeping our energy usage low.”
