Developers are flocking to JavaScript. As the programming language of the browser, JavaScript has ridden the web application rocket ship to ubiquity. As such, developers have pushed JavaScript down the stack, into application servers, with Node.js, and now, even into the database. This session explores how to leverage full-stack JavaScript to simplify application development and make it easier to attract exceptional developers. We’ll detail a production-proven architecture that employs JavaScript throughout the stack and we’ll preview upcoming improvements to the JavaScript engine built into MarkLogic.
