Several days later, Thomas Schuller, Regional Director, DACH, Progress, revealed its contents and officially accepted the award.

“We’re honored to see Progress WhatsUp Gold recognized for the fifth consecutive year as one of the best network monitoring solutions on the market in Germany,” said Thomas Schuller, Regional Director, DACH, Progress. “This award means a lot to us because it’s indicative of the high value we bring to our customers and partners. Using WhatsUp Gold, organizations can stay assured that their entire infrastructure is being monitored and kept secure—something that is especially important now that many people continue to work from home.”

Chosen by the Readers

The IP Insider Awards are part of the 2020 IT Awards, organized by seven news portals: IP Insider, BigData Insider, CloudComputing Insider, DataCenter Insider, Dev Insider, Security Insider and Storage Insider. The awards acknowledge companies working on groundbreaking technologies and products that make a difference. The nominees are pre-selected by the editors, then the voting power is transferred to the readers, which this year registered over 50,000 votes in the six categories.

Most recently, Progress WhatsUp Gold has been named one of the Best Network Monitoring Solutions for 2020 by PCMag and has been a finalist in the Network Computing UK Awards in the “Network Management Product of the Year” category.
