MOVEit Named Data Quadrant Gold Medalist in Info-Tech MFT Category Report

We’re proud to announce that Software Reviews, a division of research and advisory firm Info-Tech Research Group Inc., has namedMOVEit® managed file transfer software as a Data Quadrant Gold Medalist in their new Managed File Transfer Category Report.

The report is available in full here. Top vendors in a software category receive Data Quadrant Gold Medals based on their scores for high user satisfaction across four areas of evaluation: vendor capabilities, product features, likeliness to recommend, and vendor experience.

Software Reviews’ Data Quadrant awards derive entirely from expert user feedback. IT leaders, business professionals and end users evaluate vendors via a detailed online survey, examining relative performance across two criteria: 1) Product Features and Satisfaction, and 2) Vendor Experience and Capabilities.

The ten vendors evaluated received scores based on 498 total user reviews. According to Info-Tech, each product is compared and contrasted with all other vendors in their category to “create a holistic, unbiased view of the product landscape.” Info-Tech also includes a scorecard for each product, which gives a more detailed look at each competitor.

For our part, we’re happy to announce that MOVEit was ranked first in breadth of features for managed file transfer products, with 83% satisfaction—nearly 10 points above the category average of 76% satisfaction.

According to Info-Tech Research, "users prefer to work with feature rich software that enables them to perform diverse series of tasks as opposed to one they find restrictive."

MOVEit Ranks First in Quality of Features

MOVEit also ranked first in quality of features, which Info-Tech notes is "just as important as quantity." The report says that software needs to do "what you’re purchasing it to do, easily, intuitively, reliably, and effectively"— which is a core part of our philosophy here at Ipswitch, where we strive to assure the reliability of core business processes and the secure and compliant transfer of sensitive data between partners, customers, users and systems.

MOVEit Ranks First for Authentication and Transport Security Features

Security is important to us, and that's why we're proud to announce that we also ranked first in feature evaluations for Authentication and Transport Security. With MOVEit, you can secure your critical data in transit and at rest with advanced security features and proven encryption (FIPS 140-2 validated AES-256 cryptography). You can also enforce user, system, and file security policies while controlling the movement of sensitive files. Leverage user authentication, delivery confirmation, non-repudiation and hardened platform configurations.

A Secure Folder Sharing capability and easy-to-use desktop client also let IT groups extend the adoption of secure managed file transfer to a broad base of end users through a convenient, easy-to-use file sharing and collaboration capability that assures data security, visibility and audit trails.
