The JDBC 4.0 API Specification has successfully passed by the Java Community Process Executive Committee today. My congratulations to Lance Andersen who did a herculean job in picking up from where I left off, almost two years ago. Lance - I think may have to come through with that beer I owe you... In this a day of intense interest of voting patterns, particularly with today's mid term election process, it good to see the JCP voting patterns continue to throw up surprises - it looks like Oracle might have forgot/neglected/omitted to vote for the final draft... Ops..
