Tuesday’s release of iOS 8 is rapidly approaching - and I know I’ve already shared my top highlights for enterprise app developers, including the App Extension Cord, PhotoKit, HealthKit, HomeKit, iWallet and more - but I’m anxious to see how this release of more than 4,000 APIs will change the nature of how we develop apps, especially around the Internet of Things (IoT)! What are you looking forward to?
Today we found out Apple revealed a patent to combine NFC and a wireless charger for iWatch. Among the components the wireless charger could share circuitry with, Apple names speakers, vibrators and interestingly enough, a NFC antenna. I can’t wait to see what else turns up.
