Geo location settings

Geo location services identify and detect the physical and geographic location of an object, such as a device, a computer, a person, an address, and so on. Geolocation detects location based on geographical coordinates and measurements.

In Sitefinity CMS, you use the Google Maps as provider for geographical data and the maps for defining addresses to detect the physical location. For example, you can add an Address custom field to your dynamic module and Google Maps will display a map where you can pinpoint the address.

You can also use the Sitefinity CMS API and the Google Maps API to manage geo location services programmatically.
