Custom tracking script for Oracle Eloqua connector

Overview

By default the tracking cookies of the Eloqua connector are considered third party cookies. If you want to change the tracking cookies of the Eloqua connector to be first party cookies, you can change the tracking script of the Eloqua connector by registering the IEloquaTrackingScriptLoader interface and implementing the GetTrackingScript method.

Register the interface

Register the interface in the Global.asax class, using the following code sample:

C#
using System;
using System.Web;
using Telerik.Microsoft.Practices.Unity;
using Telerik.Sitefinity.Abstractions;
using Telerik.Sitefinity.Data;
using Telerik.Sitefinity.EloquaConnector.Web.UI;

namespace SitefinityWebApp
{
   public class Global : HttpApplication
   {
       protected void Application_Start(object sender, EventArgs e)
       {
           Bootstrapper.Bootstrapped += Bootstrapper_Bootstrapped;
       }

       private void Bootstrapper_Bootstrapped(object sender, EventArgs e)
       {
           ObjectFactory.Container.RegisterType<IEloquaTrackingScriptLoader,
CustomEloquaScriptLoader>();
   }
}

Implement your script

Implement the script in as shown in the following sample:

C#
using System;
using System.Web.UI;
using Telerik.Sitefinity.EloquaConnector.Web.UI;
public class CustomEloquaScriptLoader : IEloquaTrackingScriptLoader
{
   public string GetTrackingScript()
   {
      //your tracking script
   }
}
