Over the past several years, we have watched organizations move from asking whether AI can create value to determining how they can deploy it responsibly, effectively and at scale. As AI adoption accelerates, the conversation is shifting from experimentation to execution.
Yet most organizations face a common challenge. Data, content and knowledge are spread across structured and unstructured sources, including applications, databases, documents, cloud platforms and business processes. While valuable information exists throughout the enterprise, it is often fragmented, disconnected and difficult to unify. As a result, organizations struggle to translate it into actionable insights, better decisions and real business impact.
We believe this challenge represents one of the greatest opportunities in enterprise technology today.
Why Domo
Customers seeing the greatest success with AI are not simply focused on generating answers. They are focused on creating a trusted foundation that makes those answers reliable, auditable and actionable. Organizations that can successfully connect and contextualize their information will be in a stronger position to accelerate innovation, improve decision-making, and realize the full value of AI. In these environments, success depends on more than access to information. Organizations need to understand how information relates across systems, processes and business domains. They need the ability to establish context, create trusted connections and make enterprise knowledge available where decisions are being made.
That’s what makes Domo so exciting.
Its cloud-native AI data readiness platform helps organizations access, integrate and automate data at scale, enabling them to build stronger foundations for AI-driven applications and decision-making. Domo's product capabilities, combined with the team's expertise in analytics and a strategic ecosystem of cloud data warehouse partnerships, strengthen our ability to help customers derive greater value from their data and AI investments.
Strengthening the Foundation for AI
There is a growing discussion about whether AI will eventually replace traditional enterprise software. Our views are different.
We believe AI creates value when it works alongside the systems, applications and business processes organizations rely on every day. Those systems contain the operational knowledge, business rules and enterprise context that AI needs to deliver relevant and trustworthy results.
What excites me most about this opportunity is the combination of complementary strengths. Together, we can help customers build a trusted foundation for AI; one that enables them to leverage their existing technology investments more effectively, accelerate innovation and derive real value from their data.
Total Growth Strategy in Action
Throughout Progress’ history, we have brought together technologies that create greater value for our customers. The proposed acquisition of Domo is another example of the continued execution of Progress' Total Growth Strategy.Domo brings innovative technology, a talented team, a passionate customer base and a shared belief that organizations should be able to unlock the full value of their data. We see exciting opportunities to build on our respective strengths and continue advancing our vision for helping organizations successfully navigate the next era of data and AI.
This is an exciting moment for Progress, for Domo and most importantly for our customers. AI continues to evolve at a remarkable pace, but one thing remains constant: organizations need a strong foundation to realize the full value of their data, applications and AI investments.
We believe Domo will play an important role in helping us to address those challenges and opportunities. We look forward to the opportunities ahead and to welcoming Domo’s customers and talented team members to Progress upon closing.
