Accessing the Community
Welcome to our quick overview of how to access the Progress Community. We recommend using the Chrome browser and bookmarking: community.progress.com directly, to enable you to get here the fastest.
Additionally, if you’re on the: Progress.com homepage, click the “Support” dropdown and you’ll see a link for the Community there.
Once on the page, the best practice is to log in, to ensure you’re gaining access to all the content available. Once logged in using your ProgressID and password, you’ll see your username and profile image here.
Let me demonstrate some of the additional information available, once you’re logged in. For example, when I visit our groups area, on the right-hand side I can see access to special groups, as well as special hotlinks to groups that I’m a member of. When I’m not logged in, however, I’m unable to see this content.
If you do not have a ProgressID, you can register for one by clicking the login button and then the “Register” link. Follow the instructions to create and activate your account. Once your account is activated, you will be able to log into the community.
Forum content is refreshing all the time, so be sure to follow groups you’re interested in. Check back periodically, as we’re often hosting free trainings, webinars and contests as well.
