What do you think is the biggest opportunity for AI use within Progress OpenEdge?

It’s been really interesting to hear how developers with 30 or 40 years of experience are embracing these new AI tools. They are using them in ways that make them so excited about the possibilities that, if I told them I was taking the tools away, they would say, “Please don’t.”

A lot of people say that enterprise software will be killed by AI, but I don’t think that’s true. The business knowledge and data that organizations have accumulated over many years are what differentiate the business.

AI will change the way we interact with enterprise software, but OpenEdge has a strong future because it has been a trusted enterprise platform for so many years.
