By harnessing advanced AI techniques, how researchers/scientist can tap into vast volumes of life science data and literature to uncover intricate insight. Furthermore, we will delve into the recent advancements in AI, such as Large Language Model (LLM), Knowledge Graphs, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML), for their application in knowledge discovery. The topic will also address the challenges in the effective implementation of AI in life sciences, data privacy, and algorithmic transparency. Ultimately, we will assert that AI, when strategically integrated into life sciences R&D, can lead to a revolutionary shift in knowledge discovery.

Speaker's Bio

Avinash has master’s degree in computer science & engineering with several years of experience in Technical Architecture & Design. He is currently the Head of Life Science Practice for DataVid, having joined in July 2023. Prior to this, Avinash was Director Data Infrastructure & Tools, Data Science & AI at AstraZeneca. He has worked many years for Syngenta Crop Protection and Syngenta Seeds in various technical and delivery roles. His expertise is not limited to providing solution to complex data challenges and driving FAIR but also defining & implementing strategy for content digitisation. He has successfully led many key strategic and transformation programs and project across life science domains.”
