Turn on metadata for MVC widgets
You turn on metafields for MVC widgets via the Advancedsettings. If you do not turn on the functionality, you cannot add meta title and meta description, even if you configure the properties.
Perform the following:
- In Sitefinity CMS backend, navigate to Administration» Settings» Advanced.
- In the left pane, expand Systemand click SEO and OpenGraph.
- Select Enable SEO properties checkbox.
- Save your changes.
