Query mailing lists

To find a specific mailing list, you use the NewslettersManager class. First, you initialize the NewslettersManager. Then, to retrieve all mailing lists, you must call GetMailingLists. Finally, you filter the lists based on the Id property. You can filter by any of the MailingList properties.

The following code finds a mailing list with specific Id with the Native API:

  1. C#
     using System;
     using System.Collections.Generic;
     using System.Linq;
     using System.Text;
     using System.Threading.Tasks;
     using Telerik.Sitefinity.Modules.Newsletters;
     using Telerik.Sitefinity.Newsletters.Model;

     namespace Telerik.Sitefinity.Documentation.CodeSnippets.DevGuide.SitefinityEssentials.Modules.EmailCampaigns
     {
         public partial class EmailCampaignsSnippets
         {
             public static MailingList QueryMailingList(Guid id)
             {
                 NewslettersManager manager = NewslettersManager.GetManager();
                 MailingList mailingList = manager.GetMailingLists().Where(l => l.Id == id).SingleOrDefault();
                 return mailingList;
             }
         }
     }

NOTE: You can use the GetMailingList method to retrieve a list by ID. If no mailing list with the specified ID exists, the GetMailingList method throws an exception.
