Providing Progress OpenEdge Applications as REST Web Applications

On-Demand Training

Course Description

Representation State Transfer (REST) uses unified resource identifiers (URIs) to identify resources and uses HTTP protocols to act upon resources. In Progress OpenEdge, you can develop your own OpenEdge application using ABL and you can provide select methods, procedures, classes, or even the entire application as a REST Web application. In this course, you will learn how you can expose your OpenEdge ABL application using REST and then publish the application on Pacific Application Server for OpenEdge (PAS for OpenEdge) in a development environment.

This course is available as Instructor-Led Training and online with a subscription to the Progress Education Community.
