Course Description

Progress OpenEdge is a complete development platform to build dynamic, business process-enabled applications for secure deployment across any platform, any mobile device, and any Cloud. This course introduces you to the features of OpenEdge that help architects and developers to design and develop their applications. It provides an overview of the management and development environment that developers typically use for application development with OpenEdge products. It also introduces you to some key OpenEdge concepts every developer should understand before they begin development of an application that will use OpenEdge products. In this course you will be introduced to the OpenEdge Reference Architecture which is a blueprint or set of best practices for designing your applications.

This course is available as Instructor-Led Training and online with a subscription to the Progress Education Community.

  • Start and stop programs and services in a Windows environment.
  • Develop applications in a high-level programming language.
