Accessing REST services from a Progress OpenEdge ABL Application

This course teaches about REST (Representation State Transfer) and HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol), and how to access REST services from a Progress OpenEdge ABL application.

This course is available as Instructor-Led Training and online with a subscription to the Progress Education Community.

After completing this course you should be able to:

• Describe HTTP and REST.
• Access REST services from an ABL client.

You should already be able to:

• Develop OpenEdge ABL applications using Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge. Knowledge of REST and HTTP would be an advantage.
