Upgrade features

Paid Podio plans give your organization access to additional features. The features available depend on your plan.

To upgrade your organization, follow the steps in Upgrading an organization.

  • Add more users: On the Basic, Plus, or Premium plans, you can invite more employees and external users to Podio. External users are free and unlimited. You pay only for your internal employees.

    Note:

Your organization needs a company domain attached to get unlimited external members. Podio uses the domain to distinguish employees from external members. See Changing or adding a domain. If your organization does not have a company domain, contact support before upgrading.

  • Add unlimited items: On the Basic, Plus, or Premium plans, you can create unlimited items in all apps and workspaces.

  • Reporting and user management: As an organization administrator, use User Management to view members and their last login, manage employee and external user status, and remove members from your organization.

  • Read-only item sharing: On the Plus and Premium plans, you can share individual items without allowing recipients to edit them. See Sharing a single item with read-only access for instructions.

  • User permissions: Use Member roles in workspaces to compare permissions and learn how to change a member's role.

    • Organization admins: Administrators can manage the organization's name and URL.
    • Light members: Plus and Premium organizations can assign this workspace role to limit members' permissions. Light members can view and comment on activity, but cannot add or delete apps or invite workspace members.
  • Advanced workflows: Premium organizations can use the built-in workflow tool to automate tasks and item updates. See Workflows in Podio for setup instructions and plan-specific capabilities.

  • Visual reports: On the Premium plan, you can display reports as tables, bar charts, or line graphs. See Visual reports to choose a report layout.

  • Workflow Automation: Premium organizations can use Workflow Automation for tasks such as creating PDFs and sending emails. See Getting started with Workflow Automation for account prerequisites and guidance on creating flows.
