Translate MVC widgets
To make an MVC widget translatable, perform the following:
- Click Administration» Settings» Advanced» Translations » Strategies.
- In the Create new dropdown box, select MvcControlTypeTranlsationsSettings.
- In ItemType input field, enter the fully qualified name of the Mvc controller.
For example, enterSitefinityWebApp.Mvc.Controllers.MyWidget1Controller - Click Save changes.
- Configure which fields you want to translate, using procedure Administration: Translations module settings » Translatable fields.
In property mappings, add the string property from the MVC controller. For example, enterMessage
