Product images

Associate images to a product

  1. To do this, click Upload or select an image…
    For more information about uploading or selection an image, see Image widget » Step 2.
  2. After you have selected or uploaded an image, you have the following options:
    • To remove an already uploaded image, click the Actions link of that image and then click Remove.
    • To set an image as primary, click the Actions link of that image and then click Set as primary image.
    • To view the image in its original size, click the Actions link of the image and then click View original size.
    • To edit the properties of the uploaded image, click the Actions link of the image and then click Edit properties.
      • To change the album where the image is stored, click Change album.
        From the dropdown box that appears, select the album where you want to move the image.
      • To change the title of the image, enter the new title in Title input field.
      • To change the Alternative text of the image, enter the new text in Alternative text input field.
      • When finished, click Save.
      • The Edit image window closes.

NOTE: If you do not associate any image with the product, the Products list widget uses a default image to display all products without images.
To change the default image for products that have no specific images associated with them, perform the following:

  1. Click Administration » Settings » Advanced.
  2. In the tree on the left, click Ecommerce.
  3. In DefaultProductImageUrl, enter the URL to the default image.
  4. Save your changes.

Associate documents to a product

  1. To do this, click Upload or select a document…
    For more information about uploading or selection an image, see Document link widget » Step 2.
  2. After you have selected or uploaded a document, you can remove it using .
