Export a task from MOVEit Automation

Export each task individually from MOVEit Automation before importing it into Automate MFT. Automate MFT supports task exports created from the individual task export option in MOVEit Automation.

To export a task complete the following steps.

1. Select the task that you want to export from the Tasks List. The task properties page is displayed.
2. Click Actions > Export.
3. If the task uses keys or certificates, select the Export Keys and Certificates check box to export the keys and certificates with the task. This allows Automate MFT to import the required key and certificate material where possible.
4. Select the passphrase export encryption option. You can use the suggested passphrase or specify your own passphrase. Store the passphrase securely, it cannot be retrieved if lost or forgotten. Use the same passphrase when importing the task into Automate MFT. Automate MFT uses the passphrase to decrypt encrypted credentials and configuration values.
5. The task is exported. The default name of the exported task is original_task_name Export.
