Feature enhancements
Migrate tasks from MOVEit Automation to Automate MFT
Automate MFT now includes a task import capability that helps customers migrate existing MOVEit Automation tasks. Users can export a task from MOVEit Automation and import it into Automate MFT through a guided import workflow.
The import process converts supported task configuration, creates or reuses required entities, identifies unsupported settings, and provides detailed warnings and validation results. Imported tasks require review before use and are created with Auto-Run disabled to support safe validation and testing before production cutover.
The feature is also available through the Automate MFT API for customers who want to automate larger migration activities.
For more information, see Migrate tasks from MOVEit Automation to Automate MFT.
Export task run logs
Users can now export task run logs directly from the task run viewer. Logs are downloaded as text files for troubleshooting, auditing, and support purposes.
For more information, see Export task run logs.
Improved search and pagination for resource selection
Automate MFT now provides searchable, paginated selection dialogs for resources such as schedules, source endpoints, destination endpoints, and tasks. These enhancements improve performance in environments containing large numbers of configured objects.
PGP Key selection
Actions that require PGP public keys now support selecting both PGP public keys and PGP private keys, where appropriate. The key selection interface distinguishes between key types for easier identification.
Progress-Hosted Agent storage check
Tasks now check available Progress-Hosted Agent storage before starting large downloads. Progress-hosted agents are provisioned with a standard amount of disk space, and if there is insufficient storage the task will fail without transferring data and provide a clear error.
AWS S3 Region field is now optional
The AWS Region field is now optional when configuring Amazon S3 endpoints. This simplifies endpoint creation and improves compatibility with imported configurations from MOVEit Automation.
