Departments

The departments in the Ecommerce module are represented by a hierarchical taxonomy that is named Departments. Each department is represented by the HierarchicalTaxon class and is placed under this taxonomy.

For more information about taxonomies, read the For developers: Taxonomies section.

To manage departments, products,  product types and product attributes, you use the Telerik.Sitefinity.Modules.Ecommerce.Catalog.CatalogManager class.
