In this role, you’ll leverage your analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills to manage critical business initiatives. You'll lead cross-functional teams to develop innovative technology solutions and facilitate ideation sessions supporting Progress' vision and business strategy. In this role, you will:
- Lead IT and business initiatives of varying degrees of size and complexity, employing the best fit project management methodology (e,g. Agile, PMI, etc.).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align on project objectives, goals, scope and the overall project implementation approach.
- Perform business analysis, prepare functional requirements, recommendations, and business plans for new initiatives.
- Develop business cases and ROI models to determine the business efficacy of proposed initiatives
- Facilitate ideation and brainstorming sessions and drive business process reengineering efforts.
- Work with stakeholders across diverse global organizations and adapt to evolving environments.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project management artifacts including but not limited to: project charter, implementation plan, business requirements, project schedule, communications plan, tailored to specific project and stakeholder needs.
- For M&A integrations, independently manage functional workstream plans to integrate acquired company systems to Progress standard systems
- Document complex business processes and system requirements.
- Summarize complex concepts into digestible formats tailored towards specific audiences.
Your background: - Proven track record in driving cross-functional business-critical initiatives using agile and traditional program/project management methodologies
- Hands-on experience leading diverse teams in business system analysis, including documentation and process/systems flows
- Experience working with G&A functions such as Finance, Legal, Workspace Operations, or Human Resources
- Mergers and Acquisitions experience is a plus
- Oracle Financial Cloud, Salesforce, Workday familiarity is a plus
- Experience working in a global organization is a plus
- Self-starter with a positive servant leader attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and high organizational discipline.
- Excellent collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in presenting complex concepts to technical and business stakeholders.

- Strong business acumen to analyze business requirements, drive standardization and process improvements
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes
- Collaboration and business process flow tools (Miro)
- Project management software (Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.)
Certifications considered a plus: - Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
- Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
- Prince2
- Lean Six Sigma
