As the Developer Experience Marketing & Program Manager, you will architect and lead a modern, cross-functional approach to technology community management and strategic top of funnel developer marketing program execution. This role demands strong program management from a leader who excels in both building developer community programs and orchestrating high-impact, multi-channel marketing strategies that align with broader go-to-market (GTM) priorities.
Your mandate is to contribute to the reputation phase of the GTM strategy and tactics while also creating and managing programs to facilitate dynamic two-way dialogues—fostering deep relationships and continuous engagement between our company, our products, and the global technical practitioner audience.
In this role you will:
Strategic Developer Experience Program Management Across Multiple Products
- Collaborated with developer advocates, engineers, product managers and product marketing to design, deploy and scale community engagement initiatives (including interactive labs, hackathons, champion programs, Discord, etc.) supporting the full breadth of the DX BU product portfolio and developer personas.
- Build and nurture a welcoming, inclusive multi-product developer experience hub that empowers practitioners to learn, share, and innovate, with a special focus on AI-enabled solutions.
- Drive initiatives that transform customer engagement from monologue to dialogue, developing continuous feedback and partnership with users at all phases of their journey.
Program Management and Execution- Own the lifecycle of large-scale awareness, advocacy and developer experience programs: from conception and design, through cross-functional partnership, execution and ROI measurement.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Sales leadership to orchestrate impactful go-to-market campaigns, beta programs and major launches.
- Establish rigorous program governance: track KPIs for engagement, adoption, community growth and influence—leveraging those insights to iterate and expand successful initiatives.
Cross-functional Leadership- Collaborate with a team of developer advocates and program specialists, inspiring a shared vision and culture of innovation and accountability.
- Champion best practices in community moderation, user engagement and developer enablement—coaching others to drive measurable business value through world-class experiences.
- Represent the company as a trusted industry leader and escalate key insights, risks, and opportunities to executive stakeholders.
GTM and Strategic Advocacy Contributions- Create a strategic, measurable strategic awareness plan that is aligned with the global go-to-market initiatives and sales strategies
- Responsible for overseeing initiation, execution, management and measurement of awareness GTM activities in collaboration with Demand Generation, Field, Product Marketing and Sales.
- Serve as a key contributor to GTM marketing and sales, ensuring alignment on integrated awareness campaigns and supporting strategic launches.
- Enable and amplify user-generated content, customer/partner testimonials and offsite brand presence to accelerate pipeline growth and positive reputation across digital touchpoints.
- Stay attuned to evolving industry and developer trends—propose new strategies that anticipate and address future community and business needs.
Your Background:
- 6-8 years of progressive experience in program management in the areas of developer relations, technical marketing or similar roles.
- Proven track record executing community or technical programs with measurable impact.
- Exceptional program/project management and communication skills; adept at managing multiple, matrixed initiatives and deadlines.
- Deep empathy for developers and technologists; experience in building and moderating vibrant technical communities
- Demonstrated strategic mindset with a bias for action and continual improvement, especially around AI/ML and developer experience trends.
- Experience supporting GTM functions and collaborating with sales, marketing, engineering for product launches or campaigns.
- Willingness to travel for industry events, community meetups and internal offsites as required.
