Company named one of Europe’s 100 most successful businesses; reaches the final stage of the European Business Awards

Telerik, an end-to-end provider of software development, lifecycle and content management tools and solutions, announced that it has been selected as a recipient of the Ruban d’Honneur Award for a third consecutive year. This award places Telerik among Europe’s 100 most successful businesses and sends the company in the final round of the prestigious European Business Awards, where the company will compete in the Infosys Business of the Year Award category.

The European Business Awards include a total of three stages - National Champion stage, Ruban d’Honneur Award (both of which Telerik has already won) and a final stage for the “winner” title. The winners of the European Business Awards will be announced in April 2013, following intensive face-to-face interview sessions with the judging panels.

Over the past two months, an esteemed panel of judges made up of European business leaders, academics and entrepreneurs has assessed the companies that made it through to the National Champions stage of the awards. Following, the top 100 businesses in Europe, including Telerik, were selected, based on their business accomplishments, dynamism, focus and ethical standards.

This year, for the first time, entrants in the European Business Awards submitted a video case study as part of the judging process. All case studies were uploaded onto the European Business Awards website and an online public voting mechanism was introduced. Over 35,000 votes were cast during the six week public voting period.

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards says, “The video element of the 2012/13 awards has allowed our panel of expert judges to gain a much deeper understanding of all entrants’ business strategies. This has helped the judges make clear and informed decisions about the individual companies in each award category. Telerik has really impressed the judges and deserves the very best of luck in this highly competitive final round.”
