Telerik AD Named “Best Employer” in Central and Eastern Europe for Second Year; “Best Employer in Bulgaria” for Sixth Consecutive Year

Telerik Once Again Rises to the Top with High Scores in Training and Development, Work Environment, Benefits and More

Sofia, Bulgaria – March 19, 2014 – Telerik AD today announced it has once again been named “Best Employer” in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), among medium size companies with up to 1,000 employees. Telerik AD is the only Bulgarian company to be recognized as a best place to work in CEE in this year’s survey, implemented by Aon Hewitt, the global leader in human resource solutions.

With 93% employee engagement, this is not the first time Telerik was ranked Best Employer in the CEE region. In addition, Telerik has been named a leading employer in Bulgaria for six consecutive years, including being ranked first in 2013, 2012, 2010 and 2007.

Compared to the Bulgarian employee engagement average of 54%, and the IT industry average of 63%, the high appraisal by Telerik AD employees in 2013 is attributed to its training and professional development opportunities, great work environment, excellent remuneration, benefits packages and company resources.

The 2013 study includes data from a survey of over 360,000 employees in more than 430 organizations across Central and Eastern Europe. The final ranking is based off Aon Hewitt’s established methodology and it includes the votes of the participating companies’ employees.
