Discounts and Coupons

When you want to provide incentives for your customers, you can provide a percent discount on an order that can be tuned by customer type, uses, dates, and order totals.

To define Discounts, in the Sitefinity main menu choose Ecommerce » Discounts.
The Discounts page opens, listing the current discounts and actions you can perform on them.

Displaying discounts on your website

The discounts you create in this section are displayed to your customers during the The checkout process.

For more information about adding widgets on your page, see Add widgets on pages and templates.

This section contains

Create a discount or coupon
Create discount and define their amounts, select the customers to get discount, as well as the discount time period.
Edit discounts
Edit discount properties or delete a discount altogether.
Discounts
You can manage discounts programmatically through the Discount class and its properties.
Put products on sale
Use the CatalogManager class to put put products on sale and define sale properties.
