Product attributes

Product attributes are additional characteristics of a product. For example product attributes can be size and color. You first create the attribute, such as size. Then, you create values for this attribute. For example, for size, you can create values S, M, L, and XL. Finally to associate a product with its attributes, you must go to Products page and Create product variations.

You manage product attributes on the Attributes page.

To open the Attributes page, in the main menu in the upper part of the screen, click Ecommerce » Attributes.
The Attributes page appears, displaying a list of all created product attributes together with actions you can perform on them.

When you open an attribute, you can view all the values of this attribute. You can change the list order of the attributes values:

  • Click the Order dropdown to sort the values in forward/reverse alphabetic sort, or by earliest/latest creation date.
  • You can drag and drop a line into a preferred sequence. This would like work better for the Size attribute where XS, S, M, L, XL are not an alphabetic listing.
