Bug tracker: Create the project

To create a project for the Bug Tracker application:

  1. Open the Sitefinity CMS Project Manager.
  2. Select the desired Sitefinity CMS application.

    NOTE: It is recommended to develop your module in a clean Sitefinity CMS application. After finalizing the module you can reuse the .dll in other Sitefinity CMS applications.

  3. Navigate to Actions » Edit in Visual Studio.
  4. Save the solution, in which the Sitefinity CMS project is opened in by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+S or by selecting File » Save All from the menu.
  5. Choose a location and a name for the solution and click Save.
