Events

The Events page lets you maintain event postings of one-off and recurring types. You can create and manage events and see all events-related information and actions.

To manage your calendars, from the Events page, navigate to the Calendars page via the All calendars link.

PREREQUISITES: You must set the day of the week you want your calendar to start the week. To do this, click Administration » Settings » Advanced » Events and specify the First day of the week and the Last day of the week and click Save changes.

Organization  You can organize your events in calendars that you can color-code the calendars, and then display on the website in MonthWeek, or Day view. For more information, see Manage event calendars
Comments 

You can view all comments, submitted for events, by expanding the Settings section on right side of the page and clicking Comments.

Custom fields 

You can add custom fields to events, or choose from predefined default fields (such as contact phone #, and UTC time) that are currently suppressed from view. To manage the custom fields of events, on Events page, click Custom Fields for events link in the right pane of the page.

You then display a custom field on your website by adding it to a template for displaying events.

Permissions 

You can set permissions for all events, or set individual permissions for each event.

Search and filter Search and filter content items

Event calendars

You can organize your events in calendars that you can color-code the calendars, and then display on the website in Month, Week, or Day view. For more information, see Manage event calendars.  

Import events from SharePoint

You can import events and calendars from a SharePoint site.
