Manage lists and list items

The following table summarizes how you manage lists and list items.

Action Description
Lists Edit the properties of lists
  1. On the Lists page click the Actions link of the respective list.
    From the dropdown list click Title & Properties.
  2. Edit the blog URL or the additional URLs list.
  3. Click Save changes.
Delete lists

On the Lists page, do one of the following:

  • Expand the Actions menu of a list and click Delete.
  • Select one or more lists and click Delete in the Actions menu, located on top of the Lists list.

A dialog box opens for you to confirm the deletion.

List items Edit, approve, and publish the content of list items
  1. Open a list item for editing in one of the following ways:
    • Click the list item you want to edit.
    • Expand the Actions menu of the respective list item.
      From the dropdown list, click Content.

      NOTE: In the More Options menu, you can click Revision history to view and compare existing versions of the list item.

      NOTE: In the top left corner of the editor, you can see when the list item was last published. Upon hovering over, you see additional information about when was the list item last modified and published for the first time.

  2. Edit the list item content as required. See Overview: Create and edit content for details.
  3. When you are finished, click Publish.
    If you have a workflow installed on your website, you can have different options. For more information, see Actions available in a workflow.

    If you are editing a published blog post, the system saves a draft of that post, but the published version is still visible on the webpage. To see which version is the currently published one, see Revision history for content items.

Delete list items

You can delete list items in the following ways:

  • Expand the Actions menu of a list item and click Delete.
  • Select one or more list items and click Delete in the Bulk actions menu, located on top of the Blogs list.

A dialog opens for you to confirm the deletion.
