Create tax classes

You need to create tax classes, if one tax type has different values for different goods or services. For example, in a given country, you might have a special VAT that applies to books or songs.
  1. On the main menu, choose Ecommerce » Tax Classes.
    The Tax classes page opens.    
  2. Click Create a tax class.
    The Create a Tax class page opens.
  3. In the Tax class input field, enter a name for the tax.
    For example, enter Songs or Books.
  4. Click Create this tax class button.
    The tax class is created and you can apply it to taxes. For more information, see Create taxes.
