AccordionNewsList widget: Register the widget in Sitefinity CMS's backend

After you follow the instructions in AccordionNewsList widget: Implement the server-side functionality the AccordionNewsList widget, you need to register the new user widget in Sitefinity CMS toolbox. Once you do this, the widget is available for drag-and-drop in the page editor user interface.

To register the new user widget:

  1. Navigate to Administration » Settings » Advanced » Toolboxes » Toolboxes » PageControls » Sections » ContentTollboxSection » Tools.
  2. Click Create new and in the Controller CLR type or Virtual Path field enter ~/CustomNewsListAccordionNewsList/AccordionNewsList.ascx
  3. Enter a valid name and title of the new user widget.
  4. Save you changes.

To test the AccordionNewsList widget, create a new page and drag and drop the widget in the page.
