Required changes in connection settings

Due to changes in the Sitefinity Insight authentication mechanism, you now need to use an access key to connect your Sitefinity CMS sites to Sitefinity Insight, as opposed to user name and password credentials that were used before. If you do not complete the required changes listed below, connection to Sitefinity Insight will be lost. When disconnected, Sitefinity Insight does not collect data and you cannot use A/B testing, content touchpoints, and Insight personalization features in Sitefinity CMS.

To keep your connection to Sitefinity Insight, do the following:

1. Go to Sitefinity Insight.
2. In the top right, click Administration.
3. Click Access keys.
4. Generate an access key. Copy and store the key in a safe location.
5. In Sitefinity CMS backend, open Administration » Sitefinity Insight.
6. Click Change connection.
7. Paste the generated access key in the Access key field.
8. Click Connect.
