Message templates
You can create a message templates for the messages you send to your subscribers via email campaigns. A message template makes it easy for you to reuse certain layout, design, text formatting or even to insert specific placeholders for precise type of information in your messages, for example Name, Email, and so on.
Email campaigns templates now support MVC widgets. By default, only MVC widgets are available for new projects.
Any existing email campaigns with templates based on Web Forms (for upgraded projects) can still use MVC and Web Forms widgets.
If you want to enable Web Forms widgets to be displayed on message templates alongside the MVC widgets, perform the following:
- In the main menu, click Administration » Settings » Advanced.
- In the treeview on the left, click Newsletters.
- Select the Enable Web Forms framework checkbox.
- Click Save changes.
